Unbreakable Vow Completed

Part 6 Horoscope

Khushi removed the key and opened her house door. Her mother has not come home yet. She was a working woman. She has been working in a private company as an accountant after her husband's demise. As she was a B.com graduate, she used to help her husband in his profession when he was alive who was an accountant of Avinash Singh Raizada.

Yes... we are talking about Garima Gupta the woman who fought against the storm of her life and raised her only daughter Khushi Gupta without anyone's help. She was a self-estimated woman and Khushi is a miniature of her mother. "As is the mother so is the daughter". As she grew up seeing her mother's struggle, she learned to face the problems and Garima appreciates it... sometimes, fears of it.

There is nothing we couldn't guess that what would have happened after Avinash left the world. Subhadra Raizada sent Arnav to London and sent Gupta women out of his life. We knew she was never fine with the low-class alliance. Garima left the house with Khushi. She found a job and leading a life with self-respect.

Let's see what Khushi is doing. She is cooking, yaar. Not bad Khushi. Her perfection is making as wonder. After finished cooking, she went to the washroom to take bath. In a few minutes, she came out all fresh. Opening her laptop, she was searching for a job vacancy. Of course, she is a Mumma's girl who wants to reduce her mother's burden. She wanted to earn money to let her mother be relaxed. Garima worked a lot... Being a working woman, it's not easy to raise a girl child without any help. And Khushi knew that. She is a responsible girl after all.

After applying for three or four companies, she shut down the laptop.

At the same time, hearing a knock on the door, she rushed to open it. She knew who is knocking on the door. As she expected, it was indeed Garima. Khushi hugged her as if she meets her after ages. Garima also hugged her with the same zeal.

"Have you gotten your mark sheet?" Garima asked.

"Of course... I have applied for a few jobs too..." Khushi said proudly.

"Good."

"I have finished cooking also."

"Why Khushi? How many times do you want me to tell you to be relaxed?"

"How could I be relaxed when you are working for the whole day?"

Garima sighed.

"Let me do it for you mom..."

"Ok...what were you doing in the restaurant THE NEW PALACE?" She asked, folding her hands.

Khushi pressed her jaws together in bewilderment.

"Khushi beta... it seems, someone had ignited matter to your mother. You have gone today... Garima matha is going to swallow you for sure" Khushi murmured inwardly.

"I told you to avoid problems instead of extending it."

"I didn't extend it Ma... I just finished it." She said waving her hands in the air.

"No Khushi... don't think it's finished. What if the guy comes again with his friends to pay back?" she asked fearfully.

"I can manage ma..." she said casually.

"How would you manage? Will you fight with those guys? Are not we witnessing, how girls are getting harassing by men? We are alone Khushi... "

Cutting her,

"We are not alone Ma.... I have you and you have me..."

"This is complete stupidity... Women can do nothing against men..."

"How many days will you degrade yourself? What if we are women? You raised me alone... you taught me everything alone... still are you believing that a woman can do nothing alone? "

"That's reality. We can talk anything easily but bringing it into practice is not easy..."

"May not be easy... but not impossible."

"Being confident is fine but don't be overconfident."

"I got the confidence from you only Ma... I saw you struggling to give me a good life. I grow up seeing you then how won't I be confident?"

"That's why I'm scared... I have no one other than you Khushi... I don't want you to get trapped into something unwanted."

"Don't worry Amma... I will be safe."

Garima sighed.

"Go and take bath. I'm hungry..." Khushi said pouting.

"I will come in a few minutes."

Garima went to the washroom. Khushi sighed. Don't know how her mother got to know her activities. Does she stalking her? she bit her nail. Whenever she does something bravely Garima advises her for the whole day. Khushi nodded no sighing.

RM

Subhadra was on call.

"How are they?"

"They are fine."

"Keep tagging them."

"Jee..."

"Is Garima still working?"

"Yes... she is still working for Ranade Company. Govind Ranade is treating her with respect."

"What about the girl Chutki?"

"Khushi Gupta has finished graduation."

"Ohh...make sure she doesn't meet Arnav."

"I had seen your car in the market area in the last evening. Your grandson was waiting for someone I suppose. At the same time, Khushi was also there. But your grandson didn't see her."

"Even if he would have seen her, he couldn't have recognized her." She said confidently, disconnecting the call.

She was right Arnav didn't recognize her. Even though he didn't recognize her didn't his heart feel something seeing her?

Subhadra thought deeply, how to handle Arnav. She couldn't bear Arnav's wrath. He is the first person in her life who raised finger at her.

And adding to it, Arvind also changed his mind. Ratna would be behind his change. She can see changes in Ratna after the arrival of Arnav. But she is Subhadra Raizada, after all. She knew how to hit them back.

The next day

Arnav saw a pandit sitting in the living room opposite to Subhadra. She was crying closing her mouth by her saree pallu and Ratna was also standing beside her. She was also looking sad.

"What happened?" Arnav asked.

Subhadra cried again Arnav went to Ratna, not understanding anything.

"Mom, tell me what the matter is"

Arnav turned towards the pandit, hearing him.

"They are upset about your horoscope"

"Why? What's there to be upset about my horoscope?" he asked frowning who doesn't have a belief in the horoscope.

"Your horoscope has a critical problem." The Pandit said.

"I don't believe in horoscope..." Arnav said plainly, keeping his face stern.

"But we can't ignore such things which frightening us" Dadi said crying.

"What frightens you?" He raised his eyebrows thoughtfully.

"As per your horoscope, your first wife will die" The Pandit gave him a shock.

"What the ...." He said gritting his teeth.

"Haan beta it is true. My words never go wrong" said the prideful Pandit.

"This is all rubbish..." Arnav shouted, couldn't tolerate it.

"I'm the one who told about your Dada's demise before his death... I'm the one who told seeing your mother's horoscope that you won't be with her until the age of twenty-five years... "The pandit said sternly yet proudly.

Arnav gulped hard.

"What if Chutki dies? Will you take risks in Chutki's matter? Dadi asked sadly.

Arnav felt a tug in his heart. Even though he doesn't believe in horoscope how could he even think of risking Chutki's life? What if something horrible happens to her?

"Is there no redemption for this?" Subhadra asked sadly.

"No... we can't do any redemption in this matter because the positions of the planets are very strong. "

Hearing the Pandit's words, Subhadra fell on the sofa fainting. Ratna rushed towards her and splashed water on her face. Arnav stood beside her couldn't understand what to do.

Subhadra opened her eyes slowly. She started crying again.

"What can I do now? Can't I make my husband's wish come true? What would I answer him when I meet him in heaven? He wished to get Chutki as his bahu... how can I get her married to Arnav after knowing about his horoscope? How can I let her die?"

Subhadra blabbered looking at Arnav's expression through the corner of her eyes. Fear was visible on his face. If he is so fond of her without seeing her, then what would he do if he meets her? Subhadra thought. It's good to keep him away from the girl. She thought she won the match. Arnav's horrible facial expression made her think so. But Arnav's next stance transferred the horrible expression from Arnav's face to Subhadra's face.

"If this is the problem, I'm not going to marry her. I don't think marriage is necessary to be happy. It's just a ritual. I will live with Chutki without marrying her."

Subhadra stood up with a horrible expression. She didn't even think Arnav could come up with this kind of idea.

"But Arnav... this is not acceptable. Without getting married to her, how could you live with her?"

"This is all common in London..." He said shrugging his shoulders.

"This is not London but India..."

"I will take Chutki to London. Simple... no one could point at me then..."

Subhadra went speechless. She didn't know what to say.

"My horoscope has a problem... even though I have no faith in such thing I can't risk with Chutki's life. Then what would I do? I can marry anyone... forever, right? LIVE IN is the only solution I have. Am I right Ma?" He asked Ratna.

"Hannnnn...." Ratna just came out of the shock which was given by her son.... but sweet shock. She was disappointed when she heard the Pandit. She knew it must be Subhadra's game. But her son made her mother-in-law's mouth shut.

"Am I right?" Arnav asked her again.

"Chotte..."

"You know me... I will never marry anyone if the girl will die marrying me. So what could I do? Shall I become a saint?" He asked casually.

"You are our only son Chotte...how could I let you do that?"

"Then tell me what you want me to do?"

"You are right Chotte...we have no other choice. You take Chutki to London. That's the only solution we have now. I will come to London every year like always." She said sadly, touching his face.

Subhadra was like "What the hell is happening here?" She planned something and something else is happening here totally opposite to what she wants. This son and mother will not let her do anything as per wish it seems. What shall she do now?

Weird Solution

Subhadra got struck... as she was facing an unexpected situation. She planned something... before she executed her plan, she got to know how stable Arnav was in his decision of marrying Chutki.

"You can't take her to London..." Subhadra said.

"Why shouldn't I?" Arnav asked shrinking his eyes.
