Safe Flights Cap
I'd like to thank you for reaching this far of Safe Flights, Cap. Thank you for being with Cass and Haze throughout their whole story.
Though it wasn't just their story but also mine. Not the whole though!
I met this guy at school, he was a senior of mine. He was in 11th grade and I was at 10th grade that time. It was this one Monday morning, I was talking to my friends when suddenly, a guy in a pilot uniform caught my attention. He passed by me but my head shifted at the direction he went to chase him with my eyes.
That moment felt like the one in the movies.
It felt like a slow motion, it felt... different. I stalked his Facebook account to see that we are friends not knowing how it happened, but that was a blessing. Throughout the whole flag ceremony, I'm looking around to see him and shocks, he really looks good.
During my first period class, Science class, I couldn't help it and messaged him, saying that he looks good on his pilot uniform, thankfully he replied.
And by lunch, I took the opportunity and ask for a picture. But... my friend did the asking cause I was shy, thankfully he said yes. And the picture on the prologue? Yes, that was us.
It was a rollercoaster ride. A lot happened, I made paper flowers for him, I made a 21 pages love letter for him when I confessed.
I crochet tulips for his birthday and even bought him a chocolate cake.
Nagpa-Maxim ako ng tubigan dahil bawal magpasok ng plastics bottles noong intrams namin sa convention center at tinakbo ko ang pinakamalapit na 7/11 kahit umuulan para lang mabigyan siya ng Gatorade at chocolates (yung chocolates na yun naiwala niya, may nakakitang iba kaya nalaman ko).
Sadly, unlike Haze and Cass, there's no courting, dates nor relationship that happened.
It was a whole one-sided crush.
Though I really had fun during those time. Kahit mga kaibigan ko sinasabi na nakita nila kung gaano ako kasaya dahil sa crush ko na yun.
But the hard truth is that we're not living in movies, nor romantic books. It's not always happy ending. We can't force someone to like us and love us back.
Even though we truly like or love that person, wala tayong magagawa kundi mahalin nalang sila habang pinapanood silang magmahal ng iba.
That's life, and who knows, maybe that person is really not for us and there's someone out there who will love us the way we deserve. We just have to be patient and trust the process. For now, let's learn to love ourselves more and the right person will come.
It was a fun but rough journey, but what's important is we had a great time. See you around! Safe flights!
