Next morning I woke up feeling hot. I blinked my eyes and tried to move but my body was held back by a strong arm. A sudden realisation hit me which made me sigh. Of course, I almost forgot that I am married now. Biting my lips I slowly turned my head to see Devil's sleeping face. He looked peaceful, more charming than usual. "If you keep staring at me then you will fell in love with me" my thoughts were disturbed when my newly married husband decided to speak. I smiled, "are you threatening me?" "No, I am wishing for it to happen. I am yours now, you can stare at me all day long, I won't mind" he revealed a grin. "Who wants to stare at you? I was just thinking how to wake you up so that I could get out of bed" "You could just kiss me, wasn't it a better choice for both of us? We could have enjoyed the sweet morning" he leaned to kiss me. I blocked his mouth with my hand. "Your highness, if you have forgotten we have to get up. His majesty said we will be leaving today" He groaned, "since that's the case" he pulled his hand and sat on bed. He turned towards me throwing a smirk, "once we are in Minnagara, I will prohibit to enter anyone in my chamber for 3 days straight. I will have you all to myself " he winked and get down from the bed leaving me staring at him in shock. He said, 3 days straight? But the fact is, will I be able to keep my soul in my body that long? I feel like fainting now. "Princess you woke up" Hanna walked in. "I saw his highness left so I thought you will be awake" I looked at her and got up as I sat on bed, "are the carriages ready?" She nodded, "yes, his majesty woke up early in the morning and prepared the best carriages to load all the dowries. When his majesty of Minnagara asked about it, he said it was something that late Queen wanted to give you, so he was just fulfilling her wishes" I sighed, father's love for mother is really great. He was still devoted to his wife even after so many years. He respected her decision and all the wishes. Though she couldn't see it fulfilling personally , but she will happy frok above. All her wishes are getting truth even if she was not here, her husband, kept all the promises he made. "Princess are you fine?" Hanna sounded worried. Only then I realised, my eyes were wet. I wiped my eyes. "I am fine, prepare bath. I want to relax my body" "Yes, in a minute" she disappeared in the other room while my mind was crowded with thoughts.

"I still couldn't believe, my little princess has grown up already and and already become a wife" father smiled, "today I have fulfilled all my promises and my responsibility. I hope you will live your mother's expectations and wouldn't let her sacrifices to go in vain"
I nodded, "father, till I live, I will never let you down, nor my mother. She gave me this life and I will live it for her to maje it successful"
"Good, that's what I wanted to hear from you. Nandini, I don't know what a mother says to their daughters during this time, but all I can say is no matter what never forget that you have your home here, your father will always be here for you"
My eyes moistened and I hugged him not being able to control anymore, "I am sorry father, I am leaving you too. I wish I could stay here all my life with you" I sobbed. I felt him touch my back gently.
"Silly girl, this is not an end, I will be going with you"
My eyes widened, "really?" I pulled back as I asked him.
He nodded, "of course. Afterall I have the desire to see how Minnagara welcome their bride"
"It's not only you father, we are too"
I turned my head to see Dhanuk and Hansika. They walked to us. They had genuine smile as they looked at me.
"Yes, I want to attend eldest sister's welcome" Hansika smiled.
"Let's go, we need to depart early so that we can reach Minnagara soon" father said and we moved towards carriage. Everyone was already waiting there for us. I saw Devil smiled when he saw me. With a nod he helped me climb the carriage and followed me in.
"You cried again?" He touched my cheek as he pulled me closer.
"I couldn't help myself. I just couldn't adjust the feeling of parting from father" I sighed.
"Don't worry he will be traveling with us" he said and I smiled.
"Yes, I know"
"I just couldn't wait to reach Minnagara" he said and I looked at him. Seeing his evil intentions in the eyes I felt my cheeks hot. This man.... and at the same moment the carriage started to move. I am taking my new journey to my new life.
On the 20th day of the journey we finally reached out destination. The journey was comfortable and the carriages are really good. We reached Minnagara 10 days earlier. As we pass the main road of capital towards the Palace, I can hear beating drums then it followed by the loud cheer of the crowd. I couldn't help but smile. Looks like Minnagara is prepared for it long ago.
"We have reached" my husband announced as he pull the curtains apart revealing the view of capital. I couldn't see much of the scenary as the road was blocked by crowd. They were cheering call out loudly.
"Such a busy place"
"It's because they know, you are here, they are giving you a warm welcome" Devil replied then pull the curtains again.
Once the carriages stopped infront of the palace gate we get down. I saw the series of palace maids waiting for us. Infront of them was Prince Rana who was smiling. Beside him there was another elderly woman as Queen Mrinal's age. She was smiling and waiting for us.
"Kamya" Queen Mrinal exclaimed in surprise and walked towards the woman. "I wasn't expecting you to be here"
"I heard Manik is bringing back his bride. So I couldn't wait to see her. I came without any notice" Kamya replied.
"I am glad you are here, at least I don't have to rush things to welcome my daughter in law in the palace" Queen Mrinal smiled with a nod. She turned to me with a smile, "Nandini, she is Kamya, Rana's mother and also a Queen of Bala"
"Nice meeting you, your highness " I said with courtesy.
"You can call me aunt, just a Manik does. We are all like a family" Kamya replied.
"Yes" I nodded. Then she gestured to a maid who immediately brought decorated 'aarti' to complete the welcoming process.
"Come in Nandini, welcome to your home" Queen Mrinal hold my hand gently and led me inside while my husband walked alongside me. I have came here before but now coming as a bride, a new member of the royalty it made me feel different.
"Welcome home bhavi" Gurnoor exclaimed happily. She was grinning ear to ear as she walked forward and showered flower petals on us. I smiled at her gestured.
"Let's hear towards the Priest hall" King Hemang suggested. "Before we perform any other rituals we need to complete the process of welcoming the bride"
I frowned in confusion at first. I couldn't understand what his majesty is indicating. After we reached the hall, there was a young man writing something sitting in ground at side. He looked up when he heard our footsteps agd immediately got before saluting.
"Your majesty" he bowed deeply.
"Go, call the priest master, we need to add a new member in the royalty" King Hemang ordered and only then my confusion go cleared. He wanted to add my name in Minnagara Royalty. Soon an old man came out. Though he is old he seemed energetic. After sharing few words with his majesty the old man asked.
"What is the name of the Bride?"
"Nandini Nahak Cavhan. From today onwards she belong to the Cavhan royal family" King Hemang said and old man nodded.
"Yes, I will start the process of sealing"
"Send the princes's seal in her chamber later" King Hemang ordered then we left the hall.
"Send Nandini to her chamber. The journey is long and there's no need for any small rituals to perform now. We can do it later. She needs good rest" Queen Mrinal said.
"Come bhavi, I will show you the way" Gurnoor was excited as she hold my arms and led me to the other side. We walked for few minutes before taking turn to left.
"Do you know bhavi, when you saved me that night in the forest, I thought to ask you to become my sister in law. Because you really match my eldest brother. And now seeing my dream came true, I am really happy. At the end brother really got married" Gurnoor said as we walk.
"You seemed like he won't marry of he didn't meet me" I commented.
"Right, may be that would happen" She shook her head. "Eldest brother is always cold and distant. The only woman he is warm is mother. Though he never given me a cold attitude but he is warmer with mother. His single looks were enough to scare any girl. In the past, there are many girls who tried to catch his attention yet they failed. I don't know why he always looked angrily at girls. Mother was so pissed and worried about his behaviour towards the other gender. But then you happened to save me andy brother finally charged. I almost thought he would stay single in his whole life" she laughed making me chuckle.
"You shouldn't make fun of your own brother" a cold voice said making us stop. We turned to see Devil walking behind us.
"Brother" Gurnoor almost screamed in shock. "When did you came?"
"Soon enough to hear all your criticisms" he replied giving her a blank lokk.
"I wasn't. I was just telling her-"
"I am here now. I can escort my own bride. Go back and have rest" he didn't let her say anything as he grabbed my have pulled me to the other side. I turned my head to look at Gurnoor who was looking silly. Those maids who came with us stopped there. Soon we reached the chamber. Just as I stepped inside and inspected the room I felt the door closed behind me. I turned around and found him leaning on the door with a smirk.
"Here we are darling, to fullfill my 3 days vow"
And I felt my heartbeat skipped.
