Longfic More Everyday Yulsic
CHAPTER 1 We were waiting for our turn for the photoshoot and during the wait, I noticed Jessica laughing and smiling at everything that Tiffany was saying. "Yah Yoona! I know she's the Ice Princess, but why does it seem that she's always extra cold towards me?" I asked Yoona while sitting on her lap. Yoona held my hands and tilted her head towards the two girls that were playfully shoving each other. As she was bouncing our hands up and down on my lap, she replied, "You're just being overly sensitive. She's not extra cold towards you... she's just extra happy with Tiffany." I turned my head back to look at Yoona and with a hint of disbelief said, "I guess. It doesn't really bother me. But if there's something about me that's bothering her, then I would like to know. And if I could change it, I definitely would. Any more of her cold stares and I might turn into a block of ice!" My unexpected sarcasm caused Yoona to laugh uncontrollably, causing me to tip over and almost fall on the ground. "Yah! Are you trying to kill me so you can be the star of our photoshoot?" I said teasingly. "Unnie! Sorry! I didn't mean to push you. Hey, now that I think about it, Jessica did mention that she doesn't like your Mickey Mouse collection. Are you going to get rid of it now?" I looked at Yoona with my eyes wide open. "Really? Umm... I guess I could hide my collection out of her sight and into my closet." I let out a big sigh as I thought about losing my Mickey Mouse collection. Some of the plush dolls were sent by my family and were the only things that made me feel like they were around. "Yoona, are you sure that she said that? Maybe she was talking about her own collection? Because she's envious of mine, ya know..." Although I'm sure she doesn't have one. As I allowed my mind to trail off thinking about what I could possibly do with my dolls, Yoona had another seizure-like laugh attack. This time, instead of just shaking her own body, she grabbed onto my arms and started rocking me back and forth. "Hahaa! Ah hahahaaa!! Unnie! You should've seen the look on your face! I was just joking around with you. Sica unnie would never say something like that." Just then, we both glanced over to where Jessica was sitting and caught her giving us a deadly cold stare. Yoona stopped laughing and I stopped smiling. "Do you think she heard us talking about her?" Yoona whispered. Even though Jessica was on the complete opposite side of the room, I whispered back. "I'm not too sure. She's all the way at the other end, and with all the noise that the other girls are making, I doubt it. But just to be safe, let's just... umm... not do anything. Let's just wait until Hyoyeon, Sunny, and Sooyoung finish their shoot so we can finally begin ours." After receiving Jessica's cold stare, Yoona and I were too afraid to make any noise so we just sat on opposite ends of the couch. 5 minutes passed by and we were still sitting immobile on the couch. I was slouched over the arm of the couch with my head resting on my hands while Yoona was just studying the three girls changing poses every few seconds. I was about to take a peek at Jessica when I noticed that she and Tiffany were no longer sitting there. I quickly scanned the room to see where those two ran off to. Uh oh... Tiffany's walking towards me with Jessica being dragged behind. Tiffany plopped herself beside me and grabbed my arm. "Youri," she said in her English accent. "Did you get into a fight with Yoona? How come you two aren't talking to each other?" "Oh, nothing happened, we're ... umm... just... trying to think of what kind of poses to do. Mmmmm.. yeah... that's what we're doing right now. Thinking. Of poses," I stammered. Tiffany stared at me for a second before shaking her head. "Whatever. I'll just ask Yoona what happened. But if you really are trying to think of poses, ask Sica. She's the expert." And with that, she got off the couch pulling me with her since our arms were still linked together. She then pushed me towards Jessica before sitting next to Yoona. My shoulders bumped into Jessica's and I quickly took a step back. I don't think I've ever been this close to her before. Her features were stunningly perfect. I couldn't help but study her face at that moment. Her lips were glistening from the ice coffee gloss that the makeup artist used. Her cheeks seemed slightly flushed which enhanced her cheekbones. However, when I reached her eyes, it felt like darts were being thrown at 100 miles per hour. Beautiful as they are, but deadly. "YAH! Kwon Yuri, do I have something on my face? Why are you looking at me like that?" "Oh! Nothing. I... umm... was just wondering what kind of expressions I should make during the shoot," I said with a smile. But really, I was just laughing at how stupid I must've looked just now. "Well, I can't really help you with that. Ask Sunny. She's the Queen of Aegyo. I'll help you with your poses. You're tall. So maybe you want to try these poses to show off your legs." She started to model in front of me and although I've seen some of them in magazines already, I never knew how hot they can make a person look. This time, my focus was on her body instead of her face. Unknowingly, I had already sat back down on the couch with my head propped on my hands. I was so mesmerized by her agility that I didn't realize Tiffany beside me. "Told you she's good. Oh, and Yoona told me what happened and although I think you're stupid for thinking that, we have a plan to help melt her iciness towards you. But you have to give me your pink Minnie. And Yoona wants you to bake her a cake." Before I had the chance to reply, I heard Jessica screaming my name. "Kwon Yuri! Were you even paying attention? If you were, then good. If you weren't, then whatever. Your loss. Now show me what I did." Obediently, I got up from the couch, and as I did so, all six eyes were on me. Awkward, but you can do it Yuri. I showed them my first pose with one of my legs bent outwards and to the side. I placed both of my hands on my hips and gave them all a smile -- confident that I had gotten it right. "No, your hands shouldn't go there. Guess you weren't paying attention," Jessica said as she went over by my side. She went behind me and took both of my hands off my hips. Still holding onto my hands, she placed my right on the inside of my bent right leg and my left on the side of my left thigh. As she did that, her soft hands slightly grazed my legs. Jessica took a step back and looked at my new position. She gave an approving nod before saying, "There. Much better. Now show me another one." Whether I was embarrassed by my over confidence or by her light touches, my heart was beating like as if it was in a race and my body temperature was changing seasons. Maybe it was because we never really had much contact before in the past that I was feeling this way. Unable to move, I started to laugh nervously. "Uhh.. let me remember this one first." Remember our first touch. The photographer called out my name along with Yoona's. It was finally our turn and I was so grateful to him, saving me from Jessica's stare. "Unnie, don't worry, I'll help you out during our shoot," Yoona said to me as she linked her arm around mine. We walked towards the set but I couldn't help glancing back at Jessica. She looked rather sad and disappointed so I ran back and quickly gave her a hug. "Thank you, Sica. Don't look so disappointed in me. I'll try my best to imitate your poses." I gave her a smile before running back to Yoona and I could've sworn I caught Jessica smiling back.
